For this project, I collaborated with the owners of the Karelia Beryl Mine to create a collection of photography and aerial drone imagery for use on their website and social media. After reaching out with a proposal, we arranged a visit to document the site from both the ground and the air.

The project combined documentary photography with environmental storytelling, capturing the landscape, geological features, and the experience of exploring one of Finland's historic mining locations. Alongside the commissioned imagery, I documented our search for minerals, adding a personal narrative to the project.

Although we didn't discover the beryl we had hoped for, we found several beautiful quartz crystals and produced a visual collection the owners were excited to use. Projects like this remind me how much I enjoy combining photography, storytelling, and real-world experiences.
