For this project, I collaborated with Xaviere Heeremans to produce a documentary exploring the lives of artists who have experienced homelessness. The goal was to create an honest and respectful portrayal that focused on people rather than labels, using storytelling to highlight resilience, identity, and the role of art in rebuilding lives.

From the earliest stages of development, I helped shape the documentary's narrative and visual direction. Originally conceived as a series of short films, the project evolved into a single feature documentary that connected multiple personal stories through the shared themes of Homelessness, Art, and Family.

Throughout the production, I was responsible for conducting interviews, planning productions, cinematography, editing, colour grading, sound design, and post-production. Building trust with each participant was essential, creating an environment where genuine conversations could unfold naturally and their experiences could be represented with authenticity and respect.

The documentary demonstrates the power of visual storytelling to communicate complex social issues through personal experiences rather than statistics. It remains one of the projects that most strengthened my documentary filmmaking, interviewing, and narrative storytelling skills while reinforcing the importance of empathy throughout the creative process.
